Design the bumper in 2D or 3D

This two week we gonna design our bumper in 2D or 3D, the structure of the bumper. After that, we gonna put the new concept of the bumper in the real vehicle and inspect the problem. Hope that we success for the new design.

Design New Vehicle Bumper

This week we gonna design new vehicle bumper with special feature. Our group will design at least 3 structure to absorb the impact energy. We still learning how to use the design software to design our bumper, hope that we going smooth. At last, our group will do a lot of research about the design method.

Progress of Technology Project

After our group first meeting with supervisor, we do actually know how to run our project. We gonna do the research about all type of bumper, including function, material, structure, etc. Beside that, we have to find information about safety technology of bumper, pedestrian protection, impact absorption, and also other stuff. We also want do research about material and structure can be use in our design. All this information we need to complete in two week and show it to our supervisor. Last, we will try our best and play our part as well to get top score.

Finally, our group got an idea

In this few week we still can't find a good idea...until the lecturer talk about the airless tyre. After that, we saw the picture of airless tyre then we have an idea, same concept but use in different way. Nowadays, many accident can cause the pedestrian injured when crossing on the road. So, we try to fix the rubber or other material in front vehicle, between the bumper and the chassis. By this way, we want to design new bumper for reduce the hardness of bumper without reduce the capability of absorb crash energy. That is our's aim and try to protect the people.

Finding for Technology Project Idea

This week we still have no idea for technology project, but we try our best to find an idea. So, hopefully we can get some best idea for our project within the due date.

Although have many project and assignment that we want to complete, but i try to enjoy it!!
